DISCOVERED SPACES: The Essex County Fair
One of the interesting things about moving to the Town of Westport is to understand it as a transitional space. A seasonal destination with a distinct ebb and flow.
Spaces live and breathe much as the people that occupy them. The fair ground will come to life in the Summer, though for now it is the home of the harness racing horses bound for Yonkers Raceway.
As something of an explanation to this pictorial essay: while I have yet to experience the Champlain Valley Summer season, I thought I would take this time, the calm before the storm, to examine the spaces in a dormant state.
